Here you will find information on the device hardware version, firmware version, serial number and enabled options.

Selecting CAN-Mode

Firmware versions earlier than 1.11 where locked to a specific CAN Mode and it could only be changed by reprogramming a different firmware.

On devices with firmware version 1.11 and later it is possible to select the CAN Bus Mode to suit the target vehicle without changing the firmware.

1. Navigate to menu 7.2

2. Press and hold the Center button on the PBC-Pro for a few seconds until the list of CAN Bus modes appears.

3. Select the desired CAN Mode to match the vehicle ecu from the available options:

       CAN Disabled

EOBD 11bit

       EOBD 29bit

       VAG TFSI/TSI

       PORSCHE 996T

       NISSAN 350Z

       DTA S Series

4. Press and hold the Center button on the PBC-Pro to exit and save your selection.

5. Restart the PBC-Pro for the new setting to take effect.
