uSDM102 Lap Timing using an infrared Beacon connected to DI4.

The Infrared Beacon Receiver output must be connected to Input4 of the uSDM102.

Input4 does not have to be enabled/configured as a DI input, but it must NOT be enabled as an Analog Input.

In the Diagnosis screen a flag named "BEACON" will be visible and will indicate the current state of the input.
Configuration setup:
Set the Lap Timing Source to: BEACON on DI4
Set the Beacon Ignore time to a minimum of 5s.
Lap Timing Pop up Page:
A page showing the just completed lap time and the best lap time will be shown for 'New Lap Display s'.

The internal channel LAP must be enabled and the LAP COUNT function assigned to it.

The internal channel LAP t must be enabled and the LAP TIME function assigned to it.

The internal channel prevLAP t must be enabled.

The internal channel bLAP t must be enabled.
Logging and analysis set up:
Make sure that the following internal channels are enabled to get useful information in the log files and comparisons between laps can be performed:
LAP, LAP t, prevLAP t. Also essential is a ground speed channel. A vehicle/drive speed channel can be used as long as the wheels do not spin.
