Receiving commands from the SDM - S8
The SDM can be used to control up to 3 selection switches and up to 3 on/off switches on the S8.
The instructions bellow show how to setup one knob and one switch. In a similar wasy up to 3 knobs and 3 switches can be enabled.
The following settings have to be configured to enable the generic can receive of the ecu:

The bus must match the can bus where the SDM is connected to.

Example for controlling the Calibration Switch.
To be able to control the Syvecs Calibrstion Switch position you need to adjust the following settings:

The calSelect channel should be added to the Datastream / Transmit Content.
Example for controlling the Datalog Switch

The loggingSwitch channel should be added to the Datastream / Transmit Content.

Make sure that the calSelect channel is received by the SDM

Make sure that the loggingSwitch channel received by the SDM

Add the "Ecu Control" page in your Pages configuration.

Click on the page preview and set configure the settings:

Write the device configuration.

When viewing the Ecu Control page on the dashboard, use the ENTER button to select the knob and the UP/DOWN buttons or joystic to change the value.

Use the ENTER or BACK buttons to deselect the knob and allow navigation to other pages.
