The uSDM100/102 has a single multi purpose RGB L.E.D. that also performs the shift light function.
The rpm value for turning the shift lights on can be set independently for each gear from 1st to 7th.
If the "Gear" function is not defined for any data parameter then the shift light setting for 1st gear will be used.
The L.E.D. color can be selected between an array of 5 available options:Red, Green,Blue, Yellow, White.
The L.E.D. can be set to be either constantly ON or blinking when the shift rpm is reached.
The SDM300/500 has a shift light array consisting of seven high brightness L.E.D.s.
The rpm value for turning the shift lights on can be set independently for each gear from 1st to 7th.
If the "Gear" function is not defined for any data parameter then the shift light setting for 1st gear will be used.
By adjusting the Step value the progressiveness can be controlled. The step value determines the rpm difference between turning on consecutive L.E.D.s.
Example:
Shift light setting: 8000 rpm.
Step: 150
The outer green L.E.D.s will turn on at 8000 - (3 * 150) = 7550 rpm.
The inner green L.E.D.s. will turn on at 8000 - (2 * 150) = 7700 rpm.
The yellow L.E.D.s. will turn on at 8000 - (1 * 150) = 7850 rpm.
The red L.E.D. will turn on at 8000 rpm.
There are 3 different lighting patterns that one can choose from:
Progressive: The L.E.D.s. will turn on progressively as rpm rises leaving the previous L.E.D.s. on.
Sequential: The L.E.D.s. will turn on progressively as rpm rises but the previous L.E.D.s. will turn be turned off.
High Contrast: Identical to the Progressive but in the final stage the yellow and red L.E.D.s will blink rapidly.
The SDM700has a shift light array consisting of 16 high brightness RGB L.E.D.s.
The user can choose between left to right or edge to center light patterns as well as the start and end colors.
If required the shift lights can be setup to flash above the set rpm.
