8. EGT input

STEP 1

Connect the Plex EGT Sensor or any other type K EGT thermocouple to the supplied mini thermocouple connector.

Configuration

1. Enable EGT input in menu 5.8

2. Set EGT warning temperature. If the exhaust temperature exceeds the setting, a warning screen will be shown in the realtime display and the red led will be illuminated.

                 (To disable warning feature set temperature to 1024)

3. Set EGT limit temperature. If the exhaust temperature exceeds the setting, the boost solenoid will be deactivated to limit boost until the temperature drops.

                 To disable limit feature set the temperature to 1024)

Hint:

When the PBC - PRO starts up it performs a diagnostic test checking the thermocouple sensor input and reports an error

if an open circuit is found.
