An example showing how to add one more data channel to the Link transmit datastream and SDM receive configuration.
1. Enable a User Stream on channel 2 of the Link can bus setup
2. Select Stream 1. Add a new frame. Select the new frame and the Add a new Parameter.
3. Find and select the desired data channel. In this case the Gearbox Oil Temperature.
The selected parameter will be added to the transmit message and format information will be displayed.
In most cases the format does not need to be changed but this information is required to build the matching channel in the SDM configuration.
4.Some additional information is required which can found in the "Test Calculator" tab.
5. Using the information collected above we can add the matching channel to the SDM configuration.
Go into CAN1 Receive setup
Click NEW Data Channel
Fill the form with the required information as shown bellow. Marked in red are the field which where filled using the information about the transmit parameter as shown in the PC Link software.
